Project

As MTS sought to renew its strategic plan to reflect member priorities and respond to a rapidly changing educational and labour landscape, it identified a need for an inclusive, evidence-based planning process.

What We Did

  • Reduced complexity and positioning for strength through strategic planning.

  • Ensured member perspectives and staff insights directly informed strategic direction

  • Clarified organizational values and strategic priorities in response to sector change

  • Positioned MTS with a clear, research-informed framework for long-term success

  • Project completion scheduled for January 2026

Policy Review

Project

Following an organizational equity audit, MTS recognized the need to modernize its internal policies, to ensure alignment with organizational values, membership priorities, and current best practices.

What We Did

  • Weaved equity into organizational culture through policy renewal.

  • Modernized MTS’s governance and operational framework through equity- and values-based policy design

  • Improved clarity, accessibility, and accountability across internal policies

  • Identified and developed critical missing policies

  • Positioned MTS with a complete, consistent, and forward-looking policy suite to support staff and membership
