Safe Workers of Tomorrow
About Safe Workers of Tomorrow (SWOT)
A Manitoba Nonprofit providing workplace saftey education for youth.
Project
As SWOT expanded its reach and refined its strategic direction, it identified a need to strengthen governance practices at the board level. We designed and delivered an Intro to Board Governance training session for SWOT’s board of directors, covering fiduciary duties (care, loyalty, obedience), policy-based decision-making, the distinction between governance and operations, and practical approaches to risk management and sector accountability.
